This is an urbanization control zone, so despite being very close to the city, no new buildings are allowed other than farmhouses and small shops.
Also, since there is no golf course that flows into this village, the water drawn to the rice fields in this village is completely mountain water.
As you can see in the photo, there are no houses around the pond, so there is no possibility of sewage entering.
The water from the reservoir is drawn like a water pipe through a direct pipe to each rice field, so it is less likely to be affected by pesticides from other fields.
Of course, since it is modern agriculture, we use chemical fertilizers and herbicides, but we do not use any dangerous herbicides such as Roundup, and only use pesticides that have been used for a long time.
I became a farmer two years ago, so I grow a small amount of rice and vegetables for my own consumption.
